Throughout my entire life I always struggled to fit in with different groups of people. Most of my friends in high school were straight and I never got a full chance to explore what it is like to be in a relationship or have a strong romantic connection with someone during that time of my life. When I went off to college, I had the chance to start fresh and meet lots of new people. The very first day I got to Philadelphia to start college I started downloading dating apps. I wanted to find a boyfriend. For years, I struggled to make connections and did not want to get overly sexual with someone I did not know well. I used to browse the fun corners of the internet and see lots of fun kink content but never really thought of trying it out for myself.

In January of 2019 I decided to download Recon. I started off slow and just viewed a few profiles here and there. After a couple months of browsing and small talk, I finally decided that kink was something I wanted to pursue instead of just watching other people do it online. After I turned 21 in March, I really started to fully explore my sexuality with other people.

Once I decided to get into the kink scene and try to do scenes with other people, I bought my first piece of real gear. I got a cheap rubber hood on eBay that I really loved. It is still one of my favorite gear pieces to this day. Getting a feel for rubber made me very happy and I started craving more.

After months of looking for someone to explore my kinks with I finally got to play with someone. I had hooked up with guys before but never did anything kinky let alone overly sexual since I tend to hold a lot back with people I don't know well. This was the first time I ever got to try pup gear out. At first, I thought it was stupid, but I slowly ended up loving being a puppy. That day inspired me to go out and get my own pup hood.

The day I got my pup hood I was very happy. I already had decided on my pup name being Pup Axe. Axe seemed to fit both my personality and style. Once I got my hood, I wore it whenever I had the chance to.

Instagram really took off for me once I got my pup hood. Social media is what first got me into kink in the first place. Whether it was seeing inflatable latex suits on YouTube or privately browsing Tumblr and twitter, kink and social media have always been hand in hand for me.

I have my own mini photo studio that I use for a lot of my pup pictures. I model, edit, and take my own pictures for Instagram. One of the pictures I took got reposted by Mr. S Leather which helped to get me off the ground in the kink scene. Within a month, I hit 1,000 Instagram followers. Social media has always been a platform that I have used to promote my personal life, so it was easy for me to use it to show off my kinky photoshoots and experiences. There is not enough content, both sexual and nonsexual, on the internet for many of the kinks (specifically rubber) that I am into. It has always been a goal of mine to share my kink with the world. I always enjoy getting good pictures and videos from the scenes I do. Especially the well set up ones.

I never intended on ever doing kinky stuff in public, but it was one of the best things I decided to do. In July, I went to Philly's leather bar for the first time. I went with friends and really enjoyed being with all the rubber pups. That was the moment I realized I needed to buy more rubber.

Eventually I started craving larger scale events and more opportunities to make new friends. I explored both the NYC and DC kink scenes and enjoyed both of their pup nights. Eventually this led me to wanting to go to even bigger events like MAL.

In the coming months, I was debating whether I should try to go to Mid Atlantic Leather or not. I started talking to some friends of mine in Philly and started planning a trip down to DC for the weekend. The prices were not too high, so I decided to go for it. My goals were to meet lots of new people and try out a bunch of gear that I have not had the chance to try.

The MIR rubber social was the event that I was by far the most excited for and was worth the hype. My number one goal was to get in a vac bed during it. It was the best feeling to be fully sealed in rubber while getting teased by multiple other guys. It was everything I imagined it would be and better. MAL was awesome because I got to finally meet and play with people from all around the world. I even got to do some very fun scenes while I was there. It was truly one of the best experiences of my life for many reasons.

After coming home from MAL, I got very emotional. I realized for the first time in my life that I truly felt happy. There is nothing better than being surrounded by people who truly and fully accept you for who you are.

I have met some amazing friends who I stay in constant touch with. There are still so many people I want to meet and so many more events I would love to go to someday. While I have had several kinky love interests, I have yet to find someone who connects well with me both sexually and romantically. I hope to one day have a strong, kinky relationship of my dreams but for now I am happy to just explore the world and all the kinky pups and rubber men who live in it. And I am very happy with that. I am also planning on attending MIR in November, which is my dream kink event.

My journey in the world of kink blasted off from 0 to 100 extremely fast. It is mind blowing at times for me to think of where I was a year or two ago to where I am now. Kink and Recon changed my life. Without them I would be without some of my best friends and there would still be an emptiness in my life. Every day I am grateful that I have gotten to live out some of my wildest fantasies and that I am capable to experience more of them. Recon helped me finally find a group of people that I fit in with and fully accept me for who I am. I will forever be grateful for that and hope to make many more friends and memories throughout my kink journey. Woof!
