World AIDS Day: Help us raise funds for GMFA

from Recon News

26 December 2016

Since 1 November we've been running our World AIDS Day campaign to raise funds for GMFA, to help them continue in the important HIV awareness work they do. Our campaign runs until 3 January 2017, and we want to raise as much money as possible for them.

To combat the high rates of HIV that we see in our communities, GMFA believes there is a need for HIV prevention work that is honest about the kind of sex that gay men have, that challenges HIV-related stigma and that is not afraid to speak frankly.

GMFA are passionate about providing gay and bisexual men with accurate, accessible information that they can relate to, because GMFA's work is designed, developed and delivered by gay and bisexual men. The work they do is of real importance to our community, and we want to see them off in January with as much as we can.

If you have not yet donated, and you are able to spare some money, please make a donation to this worthwhile cause using the direct link below. Whatever you can spare would be greatly appreciated by GMFA and all here at Recon.

You can also add a red ribbon to your profile for free, to show your support for those effected by HIV and AIDS. You can do so using the link to the World AIDS Day page below.
