IMPORTANT NEWS: Update old browsers to stay connected to Recon

Make sure you're as safe as you can be when browsing the web.
When you use websites, you might see a padlock in the address bar of your browser followed by "https://". This shows you that the site you are on is using a secure connection, meaning your information is safer than on those websites that do not have the padlock. Recon has been using HTTPS connections for a while now to keep your information secure.
HTTPS has evolved over time, becoming even more secure, but earlier versions have become a security risk. Recon and other websites that deal with sensitive or financial data are being encouraged to block earlier versions of HTTPS, to ensure that member data is as secure as it can be.
All up-to-date browsers support the latest version of HTTPS, but over the next few months any older versions of HTTPS will be blocked by Recon and many other websites you may use. This means that if you are using a very old browser, you should think about updating it now, as you may lose access to sites that have HTTPS, including Recon.
Modern browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge update automatically, so you don't need to worry. If you are running an older browser, for example Internet Explorer 10 or earlier, you should upgrade if you can or switch to another browser such as Chrome.
