Beta because I used to switch and still don't identify myself as a no-question-asked omega/slave. But it has become very clear that I am the happiest when being shown my place by a confident total dom, let it be his sub, his dog, or just his footstool. My kink is more about the headspace, less about certain activities. But kneeling in front my owner with my hands behind my head is way more meaningful to me. In a way, the ideal relationship is similar to the one between a dog and his owner (but not quite the same as pup play). The owner takes a lot of responsibilities taking care of the dog. He makes the rules and the dog has no choice but to follow. There will be negative reinforcement to keep the dog behave, but they both know it's driven by affection rather than abusive intent.
