Recon’s World AIDS Day Campaign starts today

from Recon News

01 November 2016

Thursday 1 December 2016 is World AIDS Day, and from today until 3 January 2017 we're giving members the opportunity to add red ribbons to their profile, and to donate to a very worthwhile HIV and AIDS charity.

This year we've made changes to how we aim to raise money. We want to give GMFA - our chosen charity - as much visibility as possible, so we're giving all our members to option to add a virtual red ribbon to their Recon profile for free. The ribbon is a way for you to let those effected by HIV and AIDS know that you stand with them, and we hope that Recon members take this opportunity to show their support for this ongoing fight.

On our World AIDS Day page, you will also see a button that will take you to GMFA's donations page. You don't need to donate to GMFA to add a red ribbon to your profile, but any donations you can provide will be greatly appreciated by GMFA and everyone here at Recon
We're donating £2,500 ($3,000/€2,800) to this cause and we welcome you to donate to it as well.

For more information on GMFA, to donate and to add a red ribbon to your profile, please go to Recon's World AIDS Day page, which can be accessed using the link below.
