Run out of Favourites? - Recon Friends Feature Launched!

Recon Friends has just been launched, enabling members to link to another member as a “Friend”, displaying them on eachother's profiles. Have you checked the homepage request panel?
Note: Due to the type of upgrade, if the Recon pages aren't displaying correctly you may need to close your browser completely, and/or clear your cache/temporary internet files to view the new feature correctly.
Recon Friends allows premium members to INVITE any of their current favourites or any another member, to be linked as a “Friend” and display them on their own and the linked member's profile.
You'll see Friend requests appear on the homepage - in the new "requests" panel. Here you can accept or ignore incoming requests.
If you're a standard member you cannot INVITE people to be your friend (unless you upgrade to a premium account)- however you can still ACCEPT friends invitations, and once accepted, display your friends on your profile.
We've also upgraded both premium and standard members with an additional 100 Friends or Favourites, so you’ll have a total of 200 (in any combination) which should leave you plenty of room for a little more ‘networking’.
What is the difference between a Friend and a Favourite?
A favourite is somebody who’s profile you have ‘tagged’ so that you can more easily find them, message them, or chat to them when you log in to Recon.
Often people use the favourites feature to keep a list of people they’re interested in, or who they are friends with. Friends are like a ‘super set’ of your favourites, and work in exactly the same way. However, once linked the Friend’s profile details will display on each other’s profile as “a friend”. You can upgrade any existing favourites, or link a new member’s profile to yours.
In order for a member to be displayed as a Friend both parties must agree to be friends by issuing and accepting Friends invitations.
