WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE FWL2022 MASTERCLASS

from Recon Events

13 July 2022

This year's Masterclass event probably has one of our most interesting line-ups of presenters.

As well as stunning visual demos, there will be a number of open discussions and talks on some of the hot topics and current trends in the kink community.

PRESENTATION OF THE SHIBARI PERFORMANCE: BY NOÉ
Hoka, or better known as Aropeartist, will present a dynamic hibari suspension in the Japanese tradition of kinbaku with his model Lthrsmsublondon. He will demonstrate and explain how to use the extreme versatility of rope, from sensual proximity to intricate torture.

REALCLEARFETISH! - BEING KINKY SOBER!
Ralf Rasmussen, the founder of RealClearFetish, talks about his story and things he's leaned along the way. He moderates this open discussion about how chem sex can affect your kink experience, good and bad.

FLOGGING FOR BEGINNERS
(sir) Ian - Recon: Bondagedream - has been an active participant in the Leather scene for two decades, and is the Founding President of the "Southern California Bondage Club". Sir Ian leads this class for beginners who want to learn about flogging. "There is no one right way to flog, but there are a lot of wrong ways if you want a particular result, and your actions don't match." He will be discussing types of floggers, methods of hitting, headspaces, areas to hit, body signals, and if there is time, some guided practice.

QUEERLY FETISH OR FETISHLY QUEER?

Are queer and fetish more than just interesting bedfellows? Neal (they/them) will facilitate an open discussion on how these seemingly different worlds intersect. The discussion will identify what queer is and how fetish sits within the queer arena, the role of gender in fetish including a discussion on hypermasculinity, femininity or the lack of gender, and they question what a fetish "safe space" is and how the gay/bi/queer male fetish scenes interact with other fetish scenes.

ROPE SUSPENSION
Rope Bondage Master aka RBM (Twitter @ropebondagemstr), has done demos at a few major European events. At FWL2022 he leads a rope suspension demo. If you're curious about rope, bondage, suspension, and how you can improve and fine-tune your skills, this is a class for you. Bring your own rope along. You can ask him anything, and he's there to help and give a few good tips.

HOW TO SELF-FIST
In recent years fisting seems to be a trend that's rapidly growing in popularity on the fetish scene, as well as in the mainstream gay scene. If done properly it will take you to pleasure places you never expected but if doing wrongly it can damage yourself badly. Learn how to do it properly from start to finish. The do and don't, What to use, how to train it… Let's have Ffun the safe way."
This workshop is led by Adrian (aka Andromeda Circus) and sponsored by CLONEZONE!

BREW HUNTER MasterClass: "PROTOCOL: THE MINDSET OF MASTERY"
'Protocol' is the very first thing that binds a Dominant Master and his submissive. Many newcomers, and also experienced players, are fascinated and excited by the discipline and authority that Protocol can bring to their ownership, submission, collaring and slavery. At this Masterclass, Brew explains and expands on this fascination, bringing his Mastery experience to share and show how the very concept of rules and regulations brings deep enjoyment, satisfaction and gratification in countless Fetish and hardcore sexual connections.

THE BASICS OF AGEPLAY / ABDL
Pup Frost, Tigger, Krib and Little Ed lead this lecture and panel discussion for the curious, the new, as well as experienced players. They explain the definition of ABDL and provide information to help you get started in the Ageplay/ABDL community, or to help you further define roles of existing dynamics and headspaces. What is your understanding or experience of ABDL/Diapers, Ageplay and sexual play? Get your questions answered here.

RELATIONSHIP DYNAMIC – DOM/sub IN EVERYDAY LIFE
English Leather Master (Matthew) and his sub and partner (Paul) are often found out and about in the community and have a strong Master/sub dynamic to their relationship. As a life coach and trainee counsellor in the LGBTQ+ community, they have experience of the challenges that members of the community face daily. Coupling this with their thoughts, insights and their own life experiences, they will offer discussion, thought and suggestion to deal with the challenges and obstacles which members of the community have to deal with, so that you can live a healthy life of being who you are and how you want to live it. There will also be an open forum question and answer session at the end.
