Join the ever-growing Manchester Rubbermen for their 8th birthday weekend for four nights of slick rubber fun.
Thursday 20 – Monday 24 April 2017
What started out as a group of mates building a social community, amid a fetish world that can be hard to get into, Manchester is now readily being described as “the friendliest fetish city out there”.
What Manchester lacks in huge circuit parties and giant play dungeons, it more than makes up for with a vibrant, inclusive gay community and the Manchester Rubbermen are proud to keep that at the core of their events.
Manchester Rubber Weekend is a non-profit charity event aimed at reconnecting hundreds of rubber guys from all around the world - guys from America to Russia, Norway to Australia. Most importantly, it’s a weekend celebration of everything that makes us alternative fetish freaks! Last year saw guys from 20 countries and it seems to get bigger and better each year.
Expect plenty of drinking, dancing, playing, shopping, restraining, snogging, laughing and cruising.
There’s three main club nights (Darkcell on Friday, Alert on Saturday and Slick on Sunday), bondage areas, a fetish market, art exhibition and pup pound. You can also expect some frivolity, so as not to keep it too serious, with brunch, ‘geartunes’ and the Sisters’ Bingo - all helping to raise money for charity. This year they hope to beat last years total and give to charities that specialise in LGBT addiction and chem sex services. It’s sure to be a very busy, but intimate weekend full of fun, sweat and play.
